Omána is a fanlisting for the relationship of Tuor, son of Huor, and Idril, daughter of Turgon. The name "omána" means "blessed union".
Idril was the daughter and only child of Turgon, the King of Gondolin and Elenwë of the Vanyar. Tuor was the son and only child of Huor son of Galdor and Rían daughter of Belegund. Tuor was sent by Ulmo, Lord of the Waters, to the Gondolin to warn Turgon that the Dark Lord would soon destroy the hidden city. Turgon refused Ulmo's bidding to set sail to Valinor, but invited uor to live in Gondloin. Eventually, Tuor and Idril fell in love, and were married. Their only child was Eärendil, who became the savior of Elves and Men. When Gondolin was betrayed, Tuor and Idril led a remnant of the people to the shores of the Sea, and dwelt there. When Tuor began to feel old, he and Idril set sail into the west and were never seen by mortal eyes again.
