A fanlisting is just what it sounds like -- a listing of fans. Gambit is a fanlisting for the third episode of the eighth season of the TV show Stargate SG-1. Dictionary.com defines gambit as "An opening in chess in which a minor piece, or pieces, usually a pawn, is offered in exchange for a favorable position." This is basically what General Jack O'Neill did when he sent Camulus with the ZPM to Baal. Yes, I know it's a stupid name, but I don't care. =P
